Furnace needed repair for the first time. Given all the symptoms of what was going on, to me, the problem seemed possibly related to the blower. Looked over 3 highly rated companies on Yelp for an estimate.  All I was looking for was an estimate. Contacted the first two companies. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer. Right away, I got a response from the owner in directing me to his tech (Josh). After discussing my situation with him, I cancelled my previous two appointments and made one with Adams. What was the difference??? Simply put ...Integrity and old school values! Josh was honest in his communication and gave me what I exactly wanted, that of an estimate. The problem turned out to be the capacitor and was replaced quickly at a very reasonable price. Throughout the replacement, Josh gave me an quick oversite of the furnace itself which was educating. Over the past couple of years, Josh Rossi has responded to my home to repair and/ or service my heater, air-conditioner, and gas fireplace.  I found him to be friendly, fair, and highly skilled. I had a new furnace installed and these guys did a great job. Efficient, knowledgeable and respectful of property. They even got it done in less time than expected, which I appreciated very much. When I bought my condo in 2019, the inspector told me I should replace the furnace sooner than later.  Almost six years later, I finally decided it was time, and I could not be happier. A friend told me she had hired Adams Heating and Cooling to install AC in her house.  She said they had the highest ratings of any company in the area.  I did a deep dive, read the reviews myself, and decided this was the company for me. Brian came out to inspect my place. Based on its size, he recommended two different Trane furnaces. They were available to schedule the install within a week of me giving him the go-ahead. His crew arrived at the agreed-upon time and did a great job removing my 40-year-old furnace.  What a difference!  I love my new furnace.  It's SO quiet!  It doesn't wake me up in the morning when it kicks on. Here are some words to describe my experience with Brian and his team: professional, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, polite, kind, responsive, delivered what they promised, easy to work with, and integrity. I called for bids on a furnace replacement and new AC and got back very similar prices from 4 companies and 1 very low bid from a San Jose company.  Looking at reviews of the San Jose company scared me away.  Looking at Adams bid, he was quoting me a larger furnace and AC unit than the others so I got in touch and asked him to match the others in size.  He did and lowered his price.  Still above the San Jose company by a couple thousand but being local and good reviews I went with him. The job was suppose to take 2 days, they were done by 10 AM on the 2nd day, the crew was fast, very easy to get along with and did excellent work.  I had this done at the end of September, just when the hot weather hit so I've got to test the AC along with the heat and everything has been perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Professional, curious, and responsive. I don't think anyone can beat these guys for a job well done. Honest advice, and honest repair. Generous price. About 7 years ago I chose another company to replace our furnace because I thought the quote these guys gave me was too high. Boy did I make a mistake. Adams H/C quoted us $1,500. for duct cleaning. Our home is 2,700 square feet with thirteen vents, basement that is cemented with easy access if necessary. I called COIT and their truck mounted duct cleaner is far stronger than the ones these other companies use, and they quoted me $475.00 for the EXACT same job. I repeat: $475.00. for the exact same job.I suggest everyone start sharing their quotes on Yelp to let these people know that we are tired of these ridiculously high prices so that maybe they will think twice before having the nerve to write up such outrageous estimates. I have had trades people actually tell me that they take payment plans, as if that solves the problem. Always get three estimates and never hire the first person you speak with.
